Radiology is a scientific term used for medical imaging specialty services that are effective in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of diseases, injuries and defects in the human body. Radiology is also known as clinical radiology and fluoroscopy. It plays an important role in clinical practice for all medical disciplines.

The “imaging” radiology refers to “the creation of the internal pattern image of the intense part of the human body using radiation.” There are different radiological techniques such as X-ray radiography, computed tomography, ultrasound, positron emission tomography, nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging.

Projection radiography:

The projection radiography is the type of radiological survey the oldest and majorly used. It is a method that creates two dimensions using healthy radiographs the x-ray radiation within the patient.

Angiography and Fluoroscopy:

In angiography and fluoroscopy, it presents an image continuous X-ray on a closed-circuit television screen. There is a method in which a healthy X-ray happening inside the body and the image is streamed to a screen in order to examine in detail all the movement of a specific body part. They are used in various types of searches such as the gastrointestinal tract, bloodstream, the catheter and the fracture.

Interventional Radiology:

Interventional radiology has developed rapidly. It is an invasive method, wherein processing is done using orientation imaging instead of open surgery. It is used for different types of diseases such as gastrostomy tube placements, liver interventions, renal artery stenosis, inferior vena cava filter placement and peripheral vascular disease.

CT scan:

CT Scan is a method in which a series of rays are transmitted within the human body and helps to provide a complete picture of CT. It generates a three dimensional image which means multiple images from different angles of the same body part.

Ultrasound:

Ultrasound is also known as ultrasound and the technique of high-frequency sound waves are used to create an image of internal body parts, including blood vessels, joints, muscles, liver, stomach and heart. It is very effective in the treatment of chronic diseases.

Magnetic resonance imaging:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a method in which a patient is lying on the table and moved into the MRI machine. Radio waves are passed through the body and send signals to the computer whose form has resulted an image. MRI scanners to create images of most of the body part.
